Hey gang!! I am headed to Austin, Texas today to visit some friends and will be there through Sunday. Anyone around there want to possibly grab a bite to eat or something??

I have no major committments this weekend, so I'm all good. I believe Ojas had to square some things up out of town, which he got completed last weekend!

Hey gang!! I am in Austin and will have a good idea of the weekend game plan by early Friday, so I will make the calls then. By the way....what is Limecreek Road?
Nick and Gus: If you're in Austin, we can always go on our regular route! I'll do my best to keep the parts falling of my car to a minimum this time (but, you guys know I cannot make any promises). :redface:
Mitch: Welcome to Austin! If you have time, I think you'd enjoy the drive. Lime Creek is a fun road that goes through a scenic part of Austin near Lake Travis. I just posted some pictures in another thread. I'm sure you have lots going on and your time is limited, but I think we can pick you up, go for the drive, and have you back within 2 hours. It would be during the afternoon (Saturday?).
Of course, dinner seems like it would work with everyone's schedule, as well. So, even if you can't join us for the drive, we will definitely be able to hang out. We'll figure it all out when we talk tomorrow.
Tom, come on down - It sounds like our long-lost pal, Gil might even make a rare appearance. :tongue:

As soon as I do and get a better idea of available times I will give a call. I have a feeling that Ojas' plan of picking me up, going for a drive, and then swinging back, is going to be the best plan. If we do this on Saturday who can make it and what time works best?
P.S. - I was talking to my friend and his wife about car stuff (imagine that) and they said their neighbor had picked up a black NSX for a friend of his and stored it in a garage here for a while.....I guess the guy that picked it up and stored it was not that great on the clutch, and they said whenever he pulled the car in or out of the garage he darn near had to 'pop' the clutch to move it!! Ugh.
I'm off this weekend. Let me know if y'all are serious about this. I'll try to come up there. Looks like good weather this weekend to.

Left a message w/ Mitch w/ info. on some NSX'ers out this evening in downtown. Will try to contact again once I'm through w/ the unplanned gathering I'm en'route to.

Howdy! I talked to Ojas earlier while he was out and my phone battery ended up drained....luckily I scored a charger when we got back to my friends house in 'Hill Country'. Charged it for a bit a luckily talked to Ojas again just a bit ago....looks like the drive is the plan, and I will be calling him around 9:30 a.m. or 10 a.m. to finalize the plan. As of now I think we are shooting for an early afternoon drive. I am excited to meet some people and check out this Limecreek Road that I have been hearing about. :smile:

Thanks to Ojas and Osiris for picking me up and then taking me on a FAST drive through some of the coolest roads I have ever been on!! Curves abounded, and the VTEC engines were singing at full song. Things I will remember:
1.) Quote of the day said by Osiris: "Wow...I am just glad I stayed on the road back there." :biggrin:
2.) The Taitec on Ojas' NSX is amazing sounding!! I miss mine. :frown:
3.) The Austin NSX group needs to make a 'car wash fund' for Osiris. :tongue:
4.) It is always nice to meet new friends wherever I go that share the joy of driving the amazing NSX as fast as possible. :smile:
