On all those "debate" type threads...this explains a lot

I saw this TED talk called "On being wrong" the other day. It explains the reason people argue on their favorite threads so stubbornly.

Of course, I imagine people (meaning YOU GUYS :wink will look at this and say, "yeah, that other guy needs to watch and learn from this" instead of looking at himself and trying to critically evaluate his own thought process.

I could only sit through about 1/2 the show and I agree in principle. I think some people will continue to argue when they know they are wrong, but it is better to argue than admit one's mistake.
