Mine doesn't go to zero at idle (when the engine is up to temp), but gets pretty darn close. Remember, the units of pressure on the OEM gauge are kg/cm2, so the needle at the first tic represents 14.2 psi. The needle at 8 represents 114 psi.

My oil pressure is pretty close to 8 at start up during cold weather ops. Drops near half-a-tick when warmed up. BTW, I mistyped cm3, when the unit is kg/cm2. My bad. I'm in WF.
