Oil options for turbo cars both engine and gearbox.

I know oil is talked about allot and there is a search option however...

I'm keen to know what everyone is using brand and weight for their turbo cars.

I have been using Royal Purple XPR which is proving very difficult to get hold of, no one will ship it to me anymore.

I can buy locally mobil 1 but I saw a oil test article which has really put me off that oil.

When I was running RP I noticed a increase in oil pressure.

I have a hard time chosing oil as well. I want proof what is the best oil not testing and claims done by the company in question but an outside source. Is there such a tning?

Im using syn penzoil because of the thread from awhile back... Havent had much luck as to whos using what or which is better... If you change your oil frequently, i dont think it'llbe an issue... Hopefully you get more response from those that track their nsx

I'm using Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-30 with RS*R Ran-Up additive. I'm just under 400wHP but track the car with a side mount oil cooler. On really hot months I switch to the next best 10w-30 I can find.

We run 15W-50 Mobil 1 in our 600whp LoveFab car (plus an external oil cooler), and Honda white cap in the transaxle.

I tried Red Line Lightweight Shockproof gear oil in the previous trans, the gearset / synchros liked it just fine, but the differential did not.
