Ok, have a question on installing oil catch can.
What is the recommended way of routing the hoses and is good idea to keep the PVC and is it good idea to fill oil catch can with steel wood?

Option 1
Route hoses from front and back crank case to oil catch can and vent to air from catch can. Plug shot the pipe on throttle body.

Option 2
Route hoses from front and back crank case to oil catch can then from oil catch can run PVC back to throttle body. (on vac it will pull the fumes and on boot PVC would close the hose)

Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Dave

I have run them both ways and they both work. I am opting for the return vacuum line going to my catch can and a filter to atmosphere, like SOS, on my current set up. I like this better because I don't get as much blow-by smoke filling my engine compartment when I am idling...while my chrome rings are still trying to seat:frown:

I use heavier gauge stainless steel wool in my catch can. Not sure if it works any better though. I've heard of using copper too.
