Official 2014 Tower Shops Calender - 4th Friday Of Every Month

Not gonna make it this month, either, family in town already committed to something tonight. Besides, it's too f-hot out.

NOTE NOTE NOTE:

This cruise night is coming to an end. Friday, August 1, is the LAST cruise night at Tower Shoppes and that is the night for a farewell party. From what I have heard (unsubstantiated), Trader Joe's has purchased the area where the cruise-in is conducted. Supposedly the group is working on another venue a few blocks south of Tower Shoppes, but again, I don't know details. See: http://www.crusinsouthflorida.com

I don't know that I'd be interested in going to the farewell party as I assume it will be very crowded.

If there is interest in getting some NSXs to the penultimate night, this coming Friday July 25, I might be able to make it then. Please post interest here and we'll see how many of us NSXers we can get.

Sad to finally see the Towershops meet come to an end. I been going there since I was a kid so I would like to go. Can't make it Aug 1 so I'm going to try and make it this Friday if the weather is good.

When I suggested we should do this month, July 25th, I didn't realize that's my wedding anniversary. I can boast being happily married two years! Of course, Friday is my 22nd anniversary.

I am planning to go Friday 7/25. Jose, I see you'll make it. Bzyrice, is that a commitment to go?

Any others out there? Let's make one final showing. If I am going to expend some car time capital by attending this show, on my wedding anniversary, I'd like to make it worthwhile with at least three or more NSX there. I will, though, be able to stay only until 7pm at the latest, since we will be going out to dinner at 8pm.

Any others that can be there between 6 and 7pm? Hope so.

Since Doug has given my Esprit approval, I'll try to get down there by 7:00.

I'm going to try to force myself out of my personal black hole to see you guys this Friday. No promises though.

No worries, Hugh, if you make it, great, it will be great to see you, if not, great we'll see you another time soon. Hope you are doing well.

Awesome, hope I can hang around long enough to see you. My bride is making reservations for Friday night, I think I'll need to be in Pompano 8pm, so I am constrained a bit.

If I go I can't go until around 8

Sorry we may miss each other. Hmm, posting on Prime at 4:47am, can't come out until after 8pm, BZ, are you a vampire?

Btw, what time does this start and end? I remember in 2000 when I went one time, I didn't get there until around 11 at night.

Not a vampire.. But a parent with a 2 year old and an 8 month year old lol.

Wow, and I thought I had it hard with 2yr old twins. God Bless you my friend.

LOL. You were a few hours late. People start showing up around 4:45-5:00pm and it continues to grow until around 7:30pm. The crowd starts to thin out around 8:30ish.

I don't know how it has been the last few years since I never stay late enough, but it used to be that the older crowd with more classic cars comprise the first wave, as DocL described, then the "ricer" crowd with start showing up 8:30 - 9:00-ish (you know, flush, hellaflush, TV screens, slammed, and stereos).

I never even knew there was a second wave of cars after us old guys left.

Pompano? That's 30 minutes away, you can be there in 10. :)

Ever seen me drive? You obviously have never paid attention when we've been on the road together. I am a slowpoke. Unless we have a police escort (like during Toys for Tots - that's an absolute blast, hooning on the highways - with an escort!!!) I am usually at the back of the pack and the last one to arrive at agreed destinations.

You are aware that I-595 has a 75MPH and I-95 & The Turnpike have an 80MPH "tolerated" speed limit by FHP and the Sheriff's offices right? (Weather and traffic conditions permitting of course.)
