October 20-21st Weekend - Book it off! F'ing A!!!

D'oh! I'm out. Long story short: Forgot I am taking the family to a hockey game...

Have a good one!

dude, the hockey season is soooo long and the NSX Season is almost over - scalp those tickets - you can get more for another weekend!!!

Its not the issue of getting rid of the tickets, its more avoiding disappointing the entire clan because of daddy's hobby.

The world is a tough and unforgiving place - teaching them to learn to live with disappointment at a young age is a service!

Besides, you can play favorites and bring one of them along with you!

Repeat after me, "Kids, you have to understand, Daddy is more important, after all, I made you!"

I recommend you DON'T say it if your wife is even close to being within earshot:wink:

Let's see, a Sens game or hang drive the NSX.

That's like choosing between chewing on nails, or nailing Heidi Klum.

I once told my little cousin we were going to Disney World. We drove for hours. Finally I came to a burned down barn. I said "Oh no, Disney burnt down!". He cried and cried, but deep down I think he thought it was pretty funny. ---there's your out. You're welcome.

LOL! Good 'ol Jack Handy's Deep Thoughts to the rescue.

Its a lame excuse I know but its family night even though the Panthers are a lame team to watch.

...still better than watching the Leafs!

Guys........just finished the Cruise Route and this is one drive you DON'T want to miss. 90 k's taking 1.5 hours of some of SW Ontario's most scenic and twisty roads. Even at 10 km's over the speed limit they are GREAT to drive and amazing what you see when normally riden at 60+ k's over on the bikes - however with the NEW laws in place - need to observe the posted speeds.

Bring your camera ifyou have a passenger as this route winds through the Escarpment and follows several rivers and valleys in the Halton Hills area.

YOU'RE GONNA LOVE IT - I DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Darn, something has come up and I won't be able to make the BBQ anymore :( I am still hoping to be able to make some or all of the drive (assuming it's early enough). What is the current meet/drive start time set for?

Hi guys is this event exclusive to NSX owners or can I invite my brother with his Ferrari to join us.

Frank
Montreal

This event is exclusive to NSX Club of Canada members. Whoever wants to join our Club can attend in person, but only NSX's can attend as vehicles.

Frank, you should join the Club!

The route has been sent out by email.

If you haven't received it, please email me.

Sean

Stu, is there still going to be a thing on Friday evening? If so, will you be sending out the details?

I will send out details, but we don't have a list of "to who" Please confirm your attendance to the Out of Towners meet Friday here, I'll email a link to my place, timing will be 7pm.

By now, all people registered to attend the drive should have received an email with all the event details as well as a "correction" email. If you have not received them please post here and PM me your e-mail so we can get you sorted out.

an important note: THIS EVENT IS NOT BYOB, we're supplying, you are not allowed to drink your own

As you'll see in Shawna's other post, she is willing to provide people who bring their own helmets a ride on her ATVs, but that is strictly BYOH:wink:

Should I just sorta hang out around Misty Crescent until you see me? :-)

Ah, sorry! I copied it from another thread - the title of the GIF is my address, is that not good enough for you?

#6 Misty Cres, if you're getting in much earlier and want to stop by earlier email me (below PM link) and we'll figure it out - I probably could use some set up help:tongue:

Hi. Guys

Sadly I must report my NSX is badly in need of a new clutch, this operation is
going to be performed by Acura West in London as it is being stored there for
the winter. So I guess we're out for Sat. Hope to see you all soon.

You're storing your car at Acura West? I'll go check on it regularly for you! Test the clutch, ABS, Traction control system, you know, make sure it's safe!
