Oct. 10 IRL and Rolex Races at Homestead

Boys and Girls,
October 10th markes the day that the Indy Cars and Rolex Daytona prototypes & GT cars take over Homestead Miami Speedway.

Sinbad Sports is offering a $30 package that includes admission to the track for the full day, free parking, driver autographs, a private striptease by Danica or Helio and even the chance to drive your car on the track.

I would love to go (for the Grand Am; you can keep the IRL), but I'm signed up to run the Track Rat Spec Miata and instruct for Chin that weekend at Sebring.

Too many fun things to do!

I've been following Scott Pruett since the Roush Trans Am / IMSA GTO Mustang days back in the early '80's. Looks like another last-race championship in prototype class. Should be an interesting race.

I need to hit Sebring or Homestead with Charlotte for another Chin event. I was certified for solo but it's been way too long since I tracked the car so some time with an instructor would be a good idea. Hopefully I'll reserve something later in the year when it's as cool as possible.
