OBDII Codes P071 and P1247

I know the 171 code means too lean bank 1. Does anyone know what would cause this? The car idles pretty rough. My scanner says the 1247 code is manufacturer specific. Anyone happen to know what this one means and what could cause it? Thanks in advance for all of your help.

Accelerator Position Sensor 2 Circuit Malfunction

For 97-01 cars. I am not sure if that applies to 95-96, but it probably does. The site seems to think a 95/96 is ODB1.

Thanks, it must apply to 95 since that's what mine is. I cleaned the throttle body, it was pretty dirty. That seemed to help a little but it still idles a little rough and hesitates when accelerating. It almost seems like the engine is missing. I think I will check out the spark plugs tonight.
