NXS Aluminium Dash kits Has any one seen any?

ME TOO!

Also - does it effectively cover up the plastic "wrinkles" I/many others have around the right radio button?

FYI- I purchased a 7 piece aluminum kit about 1 month ago, but have not put it on yet. Now I am selling the car. If you do decide to pick one up you can get it from me for less than retail. It's brand new in box.

Yes, it's in the for sale section. It sucks, but I have to meet priorities for my first child due in a month. Hopefully it won't be long before I'm back in another one.
I still plan to keep in touch on the forums and attend some meetings- too much fun and too many good guys here in SoCal. I'm thinking of it as a sabatical from my NSX- hopefully back in another one asap.

hey ILYA, congratulations on your impending bundle of joy!!! want you to know, as a relatively newbie, always enjoyed your posts. hope you continue and jump back into a nsx soon. (weve got a baby to be due in early september---gotta love parenthood)

Wow - good to see all these family NSXers. I have had 3 in 4 years and sold my other 2 cars, got a mini van, and drive the NSX daily.

We should have probably sold the NSX, kept one of the other cars like the BMW or Lexus, and used the money towards a new house but someone in my family is a little selfish.

I told my wife we could spend all day trying to figure out who that is (she doesn't drive a stick even) - but that wouldn't get us anywhere!

Maybe we can start a new category for family NSX posts! I can see it now:

- Where is the best place to change a baby in a NSX?

- Which of the NSX tools will double as baby toys?

- Which harness system works best with my child seat?

- How much NOS is safe to give a baby?

- Are there any aftermarket dash wipe holders?

- My son's first words were "late apex"!

- Which are better - baby boys or girls?

Nice picture.
It's what I feel like when I get in the car.
Happy Fathers Day.

I've seen the aluminum kits in person on an NSX. I was not very impressed. It looks like a cheap stick-on part since they do not conform to the NSX console's complex curves. I suggest having the console refinished by a body shop. You can paint it silver metallic if that is the look you are going for.

Hi from NYC. I purchased a carbon fiber applique kit from the company that makes wood kits, etc. the company that advertises in Road & Track and Car & Driver. The kit contained the full dash piece from A/C vent to the tiny storage area near the transmission. The 2 other pieces were door appliques. When I checked fit,the 2 door pieces matched up well. But the dash piece was not a perfect fit. There was some overhang above the radio and about .25 inch shy of full coverage on the right side of the radio. Luckily I did not remove the adhesive strip and I sent the product back. I investigated a dealer replacement-- $700!
At that price, I'll live with the wrinkles and peeling until a better option comes along. Larry T.
