NSXs take over "the Mountain" (Bathurst, Australia)

Great pictures! I have watched the race at Bathurst (it’s long something like 12 hours) a few times here on Speed Channel but we have not had coverage of racing in Australia in the past few years. We used to get the Touring Car series which was loads of fun to watch.
You have a beautiful country! I have only visited once for the GP in Melbourne but had the best of times. We spent an evening on Lygon Street which seemed to be lined with Italian restaurants. I only wished I had stayed more than four days. I was only able to leave Melbourne for a day and we drove down the coast past Geelong. What a great drive that would be in the NSX.

I have two questions for you:
1) Are those your donuts in the car park?
2) Your lap times were....
<B>Dave in Clarkston</B> : Lygon St is Melbourne's "Little Italy", and a great place to drive the NSX (onlookers think they are looking at a Ferrari only to realize they've been 'ripped off' ). The coast past Geelong is refered to as the Great Ocean Road and we have had an NSX cruise that way (it was AWESOME). yes there are lots of walls around this 6.213km racing circuit......
Peter Brock (9 times winner of the Bathurst 1000):
"It's quite a daunting piece of real estate up there", says Peter , "when you get to the top of the mountain and you're heading over Skyline and plummeting down that mountain , I think that throws a few of the overseas guys ".
John Bowe (2 times winner, 5 times runner-up):
Bathurst Most Memorable Moment: “ Funny enough, it wasn’t in a race car. In 1985, I went around the circuit for the first time in a road car in preparation for the race. Well, it scared the living &%#@ out of me. My strongest memory is coming over ‘Skyline’ thinking ‘what the hell am I doing’! It was a daunting place and the only race track that has ever truly scared me.”
