That is terrible, I only found out now! :( Lately because of work I am not able to come here too much...

Maarten I wish you a good recovery and all teh best! I think I sort of know your feeling, I went through this three years ago.

Again, I wish you all the best and a quick recovery!!!

Maarten, I'm very sorry to hear about your accident. We all love our cars and drive them to our personal limits as often as is possible. Fortunately this was in a controlled environment where safety is a primary concern. We all fear this happening to us and I'm saddened to hear of your mishap. I hope you recover your health soon.

Quick Recovery

MvM:

I wish you a quick but complete recovery. Glad to hear you'll eventually get back to 100% if R&R is all your doctor has perscribed. :)

Thread Comment: great pix...under the circumstances.

My best public wishes to Maarten too - he seemed "OK" when we drove by but....... at least his vertebrae is just cracked and not fractured so he will be OK soon.

We put up some pix here and had a great time seeing everyone too. Nice to have some sun for a change of pace! Hopefully the car will be sorted out a bit better next year - we have some things to do over the winter to get under 3:00:00 and will test them at Hockenheim (or maybe at the Nürburgring if we are lucky) to make sure in case anyone wants to come by.

Mark, if you really do a Hockenheim test next year please tell me when - the track is nearly at my house door (about 90 km) and I already drove more than 100 laps on the new GP circuit. If you go there I will make sure you're not the only (and not he fastest)
NSX on the track.

I'm still working to crack the 2 minutes barrier there...

the new schedule does not have Hockenheim on the list. :(

They did this year and I made a bad assumption.

below:

March 27th Circuit Paul Ricard, Le Castellet (F), 1st free training of the season

May 1st Dijon-Prenois (F), 1st and 2nd stages of the HONDA TROPHY 2004

June 5th, 2004 Magny-Cours (F), 3rd and 4th stages of the HONDA TROPHY 2004

July Circuit in Italy, 5th and 6th stages of the HONDA TROPHY 2004

August 14th Charade (F), 7th and 8th stages of the HONDA TROPHY 2004

Sept 3rd – 5th Spa-Francorchamps (B), 9th and 10th stages of the HONDA TROPHY 2004

October 30th Anneau du Rhin (F), last free practice of the season

We will be at SPA and at least one other - that one is unclear at the moment.

Hi Wolfgang,

I am also interested to do a few laps on the Hockenheim Circuit. Perhaps we can arrange a meeting?

Gerard
