NSXCC Southern Ontario Cruise and BBQ in Fort Erie – Sunday July 29, 2012

Definitely had a blast. Wanted to stay longer but I promised my son we would play with his RC cars. That was also fun. We spent the afternoon doing that. So who won the autographed stuff?

Thanks for the Donation Russ....One stayed in Your neck of the woods with Chris W and the other went to Mario B.

We all had a great time, with good food and a swim, plus the drive down to Shawna's place was wonderful.

BIG thank You to Shawna for hosting again this year...everything was prefect.

Speaking of mileage, I had 3/4 tank when we started our day and right now my trip is at 560 KMs and the gas light isn't even on yet. These cars are pretty good on gas surprisingly!

Patti and I had a blast, and were sorry we couldn't stay longer, but for a day without the kidlet, we had to smash as much activity as possible into it.

We did see Bruni on the drive home though.

Great fun guys. Thanks to everyone who came out. As always our events are only successful with your support. Big thank to Shawna for hosting and welcome everyone to her home. Russ for donating such fabulous collectibles. I don't have my pictures uploaded yet, but sure others will have more to post.

Glad it worked out - HOWEVER, I would appreciate if whoever accidentally took my membership renewal gift would return it to Bram or Owen as it was left on my kitchen counter and disappeared once everyone left..........

Long way to drive for an oil filter......but it was a free oil filter!!!
Love coming to these events. perfect weather, great cruise and Shawna's place is awesome!

Okay, found the poster - funny story: When Owen arrived he came into my kitchen and said with my renewal I get a poster, then he handed me a poster and something else which looked like a license plate bracket - but in a rush to get things going I didn't even look at it and placed it on the chair. We all had a good time, door prizes were handed out and the signed poster and license plate frame were given to the winner. Party ended, I cleaned up and the next day looked for my poster. I recall placing it on the chair out of the way so it wouldn't get dirty, and when I went to find it it was gone. Now, being ADHD I thought I must have put it in a safe place, so safe that I could no longer find it. So, I thought someone may have accidentally picked it up thinking it was their renewal gift as there were several of us who renewed the membership. Then Owen send me an email stating that those things were the door prizes and not for me. Okay, but I was sure he emailed me something to the effect that I was getting a poster. I know I'm over 50 now and certainly recall him telling me that it was a poster he gave me.......only today when we spoke on the phone did he tell me that "that poster" was not mine, it was the door prize one and mine is still in his car..........so, yes there was a poster for me, just not the one he gave me...........guess I have to attend another event so that I can get my poster............now, that is a funny story!

BTW - it was fun and the weather co-operated as it usually does and glad we had more cars here then last year......post some pics whoever took them so I can show my neighbors thier new neighbor. Thanks for organizing this for us all.
