Robs car is INCREDIBLY fast. His is actually I believe the only "Modded" Veyron thats not a Mansory. Very nice guy.Dropped by Scottsdale Cars and Coffee last Saturday AM. Thought others might enjoy the picture and coment below coined by other NSX owner at show.
Parked my NSX next to Bugatti Veyron to assimilate any leaking horsepower by proximity.
1) if i had the money I wouldnt buy one.
2) do you know how many hungry children in the world you could feed with the cost of one
3) the New generation of drivers dont care about flashy cars and huge houses
4) so I predict these high end cars are gonna stop being made
I think they are bad ass, even if i had the money I wouldnt buy one.
do you know how many hungry children in the world you could feed with the cost of one
whats funny, is the New generation of drivers dont care about flashy cars and huge houses, they would rather have a 2 door fuel efficent car, and an small condo
so I predict these high end cars are gonna stop being made.thats why they only make like 100 and then end production
you see it coming, like the hatchback Ferrari, the 4 door Porsche Minivan LOL
Ido you know how many hungry children in the world you could feed with the cost of one
You are joking right?
1) A person that dumps 1.4M on a car pretty much can afford anything, like you thinking about getting a $40 shark antenna, that's how painful a Buggati is when you have money.
2) Sell you NSX and let's go to Haiti, I am sure the world will love you even more.
3) Humans will ALWAYS love power, fun, lust, shinny things, even after WWII .. a year later "Grand Prix" races were happening already, so, unless we find really a new state of mind where we can travel in space using our bodies/souls as light and energy I don't see people not caring for "things" like a Veryon, LOL
Peace,
Oscar

The problem that I have with the Veyron is that it really isn't how an uber comfortable fast car should be made. That W16 is so inefficient, the weight of the engine per how much power, torque, and heat it generates is so shitty. The car has to have 11 radiators to function. It really is a great example of form/function.
Im with you on the McLaren F1. But you would be giving it away at one million. Last one I saw at auction actually went for 3.5 million.Growing up my younger son would often ask "if you could have your choice of just one car what would it be?" The answer was always the same and always pissed him off. " A McLaren F1" I would answer, adding "then I would sell it for a million bucks and get 12 or 15 great cars with the money".

Awesome Veyron. Not my style personally (Im more an Enzo kind of guy), but its still just a violent beast of a supercar. And it looks like some sort of spaceship next to the poor conservative X
99% of the places on earth even the price of a ratted out used NSX would feed a village for a year so personally I dont see the need to arbitrarily draw lines.
Life is waaaaaaaaay to short (this dawns on you at about 40) to spend a lot of energy apologizing for whatever position in life you were *lucky* enough to land in. Just take care of your own, be charitable where you can, try to do more good than harm and leave the world a little better than when you came in somehow and you'll be ahead of the game. Not buying a Veyron isn't going to save starving children. It will just free up an allocation for the sub-Saharan dictator who is creating them or the DC power broker who is helping him to
