Hey everyone, I just wanted to chime in on my experiences
of transporting the NSX after purchase from an out of state
seller.

After months of looking for the right color, mileage, price, CarFax,
etc. qualifications, I purchase my 91 NSX Black/Ivory from a
seller in Califormia. From the looks of it, the car was in tip-top
shape.

When I took delivery of the car, I almost had an aneurism from
the dirt and grime that was on and in the car. The transport
company was several days late on pick up, and a day late on
delivery. I looked around and arranged for transportation from
N.A.T.V., a Texas company in the Dallas area. It was $750 for
open transport.

Next time, I would recommend another company to transport the
NSX... the tardiness, the lack of quick customer response, and
muddy foot prints on the carpet being the negatives.

Positives include cheap price and delivery without any noticible
body damage. I guess you get what you pay for.

I'm not totally dissatisfied with the service, it's just that a car like
the NSX deserves better. Just my 2 cents, so if you're considering
using N.A.T.V., I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

Open Transport= Ford Taurus, Dodge Caravan, Chevy pick-up etc...
Enclosed= NSX, Porsche, Ferrari etc...

I've had enclosed transport for 2300 miles at $1300. Why save $500 and risk the elements. Their insurance won't cover you if it went through a hailstorm.
Also, those drivers sleep at truckstops. Imagine your NSX sitting on the carrier all night ....

NSX, truck stops.... gives me the heebie-jeebies and for some reason makes me think about that scene in "There's Something About Mary."

X-spdfrk, yeah, I've read about exotic car transport, it's probably what I'll use in the future.
