Seriously, if this was indeed a drift attempt, then it's just plain ridiculous. Something else must have happened...
Whatever he/she drives and whoever the driver is, driving down a parking lot at that speed and doing stupid stunt like this in a parking lot gets innocent people killed and properties damaged. There was a person next to a car that was hit. That moron driver deserves jail time.

My NSX was parked right in front of where that MR2 ended up and would have been destroyed. I left just a few minutes before that fiasco because a bunch of kids started driving like morons and I knew something bad was going to happen.
What you talking about? Worked just fine, his NSX was pretty much gone in less than 60 seconds lol. Only difference is this persons defenition of gone is destroyed. :tongue: :biggrin:
I don't know about you guys but you jump way too fast to conclusions. He didn't even look like he was accelerating in that lot. Too me it looks like maybe it was that his tire blew, that could be the culprit. It was just too sudden and he wasn't even turning the car it was going straight. Look at it again wasn't accelerating, wasn't turning and then bamn it just swerves to the left.
actually guys..... i have a feeling that wasn't really an nsx..... must have been Galvatron deciding to transform all of a sudden =p
The funny part about that video is that I found out a few months later that the MR2 in the video is the EXACT same car that my friend Chris owned and sold to the idiot in the movie. Crazy, eh? What are the odds?
I considered the same thing after viewing it again. But the NSX Prime mantra is usually 'guilty until proven more guilty'...there is no such thing as an innocent accident in here.

Maybe he was trying to do a e brake 180 u turn
he must not have been trying some crazy parking maneuver, because if you look closely, you can see a vehicle in the spot that it appears he's going into. Prob blew a tire, hit a grate, 2 fast s furious, you name it... could've been anything!

well looking at the car and studying the distance it traveled relative (used the cars he passed as my basis for distance traveled) to time it seems he was doing about 16 mph in the parking lot.
Average car width I chose as 6 ft. He passed 6 cars from the point where he passes the leftmost wall to the first square looking thing on the ground. Looks like one spot could be empty on the left near the wall located on the left. So I said though would be 7 cars but then the spaces between each car could add up to another car or maybe even two so I just said 8 cars widths. 6x8=48ft and it takes 2 seconds more like 1.75seconds but eh close enough to do that. 24ft/s x 3600s/hour x 1mile/5280ft = 16.36miles/hour
