Interesting..thanks for posting. Glad to see the NSX ahead. You kinda wonder what mods each car had to kinda compare them against each other.

I kinda wanted to see the volvo v70R vs corolla...

I wonder what mods that guy had? I think I heard a blow off valve on the supra...but I don't think I heard an SC whine on the NSX. Anyone?

That is the car that was used in teh Getaway In Stockholms 3 &4, and that clip is one of the bonus features in the Getaway In Stockholms 3 dvd. Just to let you guys know.

I'm surprised to see an NSX beat a Supra in a straight line since that's more of the Supras turf. Stock for stock I know they're roughly the same (if it's a newer NSX) but lightly modded, the Supra should walk by it.

Nice vid

that's pretty interesting..like to see what was in the NSX..I mean I have some simple mods and a boost controller and I'm putting 394rwhp down...the supra didn't look like it was pulling much...at hi psi in the cabin the turbo is loud and clear..

Um...

My immitation of teh Supra

WAAAA KAJUNK WAAAAAAAAA KAAAAJUNK WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

That didn't sound very healthy at all.

Also, slowest lightning fast shift EVER

I agree 100% on both points. I thought the supra was broken with the noises it made. I also thought the shifting in the NSX was SLOW. I was expecting "lightning"..

Street racing... so I should have known better than to watch. But I really wanted to see someone tear up their (oh so expensive) synchros from street racing so I clicked on play. After watching I feel so... underwhelmed. Maybe lightning is slower where they were racing. Was only marginally faster than how I shift my NSX when I'm driving around town normal.

I hear ya bro. Seems like more and more threads are being started these days encouraging this type of illegal racing.
Why is it so difficult to understand to settle your differences on a track?

the NSX was not supercharged. it is a Euro market 91 Honda NSX. just a few boltons on that one.

It sounded pretty stock. As for the lightning shifts...I shift faster than that w/ my wife in the car

WOW!! I wonder what all was done to that NSX.

lol that FX500 video is awesome...what's the curb weight of an NSX with a turbo system? that must add a couple hundred pounds..still not as heavy as a supra though

I said both cars "lightly modded" the Supra should walk it. I wouldn't say that NSX in the vid is "lightly" modded.

Nor can you say that Supra is lightly modded.

A heavily modded Supra can make over 700 RWHP on stock internals and i know that car wasn't single'd. Single turbo Supras have a very distinct sound (external wastegates etc..). That Supra definately wasn't single. Maybe there was something wrong with it (like others have mentioned), neither guy seemed like they could drive, who knows..... It's a stupid street race.

Don't get me wrong, I love NSX's and I sold my Supra in favor of one. I love both cars....Something just didn't seem right in that race.

Anytime is probably talking about the Supra on 2nd video against FX500 NSX, which is indeed heavily modified, T67 on pump gas at approximately 500~550rwhp, own by the Mav7 on Supraforums.

The first video is from Getaway In Stockholms 3 DVD. The NSX driver is probably Mr. X, I guess he is not as good of driver as some of you. http://www.getawayinstockholm.com/gis3teaser.mpg
