Can you get it to hop?

Its very very rare to get a bags system to hop. Hoping is for hyrdo's.
i believed years ago, there's a performance oriented bagged suspension for WRX. Magazines tested them with conventional aftermarket suspension and it's get a nod... However, the set up is still involved a little more than conventional system and the weight and locaiton of the tank could be a turn off for nsx owners.
How much does your system weight? And what kind of "spring rate" did you put in the car? I'm just wondering, could the rate be changed with different PSI as tires? if so, it will be a lot better option with springs. I don't get why people hating the bags either? Does someone think it's not as sturdy as spring as it's only a bag? mind you the tires only held up with air too.

NO.... the car doesn´t hop! But we can make it hop if you want to. Xavi has a set up on a GOLF that hops 4 ft off the ground, He is the champion air hopper here in SPAIN. Though, he didn´t make this system to hop, just to be SLAMMMED!!!!
The setup at riding height sits about 60psi on the back and about 45psi on the front and like I said it handled AWESOME. Plus you can raise it to get up driveways and SLAM it for show!!! Also makes a great security system as no one could drive it away and also tow trucks cant get under it if you park liberally....hehehe XAVI parks his car in front of police stations and never gets towed...He is a cheeky bugger!
Also for the ultimate set up you can mount some TEIN shocks on it and get the ultimate adjustable suspension. It will set you back a few bucks but hey, you want to play....
Anyways, Xavi doesn´t just do NSX´s he has about a 100 different cars that he has done setups for. He doesn´t just kit a box up, he makes it from the ground up in a couple days and charges everyone peanuts compared to getting your own custom system done. He´s even aired my bicycle out on BAGS, now that is dam cool!!!
He´s site should be up in a couple of weeks, talk soon....

How does the aligning of wheels work? Also Does this cause premature tire wear? Would also like to know whats the weight. Also if traveling down a freeway or track and one shock goes out does that effect all the shocks? Is it adjustable while driving? And finally cost. PLMK Thanks

It's funny how so many people on NSXPRIME can BASH other people's work because it's not their personal style. It would be a great day when people decide to keep their mouths' shut instead of busting in on other people's threads and commenting about things they obviously have no clue about. For example confusing hydraulics for air suspension which is used in numerous high end cars.

All very good questions yellow scorpion, and I would like to give you all the specs on it but this was a first for Xavi and a first for a Euro NSX, so this kind of info is really determined by the end users and over time we can develop a database of this kind of info.
My buddy Xavi makes good quality air ride suspensions and he is really reputable in Spain and Europe for his kits. He makes all his kits himself using high quality parts and materials. He even installs every one himself in his shop.
Mail order stuff for him is quite new and installation will have to be up to at least the standard of his own if he was to garantee his kits...
The kit is full adjustable while you are driving and he even has a very mechanical auto ride switch which automatically sets the suspension at a predetermined ride height and releases it at full ride height when you need to get over bumps, etc...
If you are interested in a kit I think he is asking for about 2000-2500 EUROS for a complete mail order kit, even cheaper if you buy your own air tank which will really save on the shipping costs and can easily be aquired in the US...
