looking the publish dates of the press drives (march/april), 7 or 8?Does anyone know how many selling months there were for the R8 back in 07?
Based on number of new ones sitting on lot unsold (300!!!), the AMG GT is a failure in the <$200K segment. R8 is also struggling. #sad
I would expect the AMG GT to sell in greater numbers than either the R8 or NSX given that it's a lot cheaper.
The NSX numbers for March are not a good sign though. March should be the month where sales start to pick up. If April is bad too, it presages a brutal year 2 for NSX sales.
What's the problem? The 2nd gen NSX is outselling the 1st gen and look at how much everyone loves the 1st gen.
umm, where are you getting your numbers from?
Acura sold 3163 NSX's (in America) in 1991.
and they sold about 400 cars (in America) in the last 10 months...

apples to apples, first year to market, r8 sold 240 in 2007. nsx sold 269 in 2016. therefore R8 sucks.
They started delivery to the States in September 2007, they were 08 models.
