NSX roadster officially unveiled....

Nice detective work! Should it be added to the "totaled" list? :-p

Wonder if they will auction it off as a road-legal car once the film is out. Doesn't look too easy to put gas in it...

I'm not sure it qualifies as "totalled". It's more in the same category as people who do wide-body kits .. or convertible conversions. I haven't seen the movie but I presume it's still drive-able so arguably it's way better than a salvage re-build.

The door serial # ends in 2353 which means it has to be a 1991 because that's the only year that they sold that many is a year. It looks to be a manual trans so I'm betting the VIN is JH4NA1150MT002353. Here's a link to the car listing .. seems to match the mileage pretty close: http://usedcarsfsbo.com/asp/Item.asp?soldid=27717&make=Acura&theday=6/5/2011

It has to be a 1991 solely because the M in MT002353 on the sill plate is the digit assigned specifically for 1991. It's less than 50 cars earlier than my old car, MT002402. Interesting.

Im still baffled as to why body panels would fly off over 10-20 mph. Theres kit cars out there built in home garages that go way faster than that.
