Right! by the time Honda comes out with a V-10 super car V-10 will be available as an option in low end production cars.
Think so

That was actually very funny! I love the lead designer's hairdo - it looked to be simultaneously bald, a pony tail and a mohawk.
WHOA - you guys need to lay off. dave has been with honda for a LONG time, and had input in the original NSX, including the seats.
Come on Honda...we really need to get back to something like this:
That is such a pretty car...I think I'd just change the rear window (b or c pillar? whatever it's called) a little.
QUICK! Someone throw a Honda badge on that thing and start selling it!@#!!#
Regarding Post #8...
Hmmm...good idea...quick, make something (first, give it some NSX lines and be sure to remove the horsey)...
<br />
<img src="http://www.vf2ss.com/transfer/hybrid.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
then slap a emblem on there (JDM of course...and must be red)...
<img src="http://www.vf2ss.com/transfer/emblem.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
then upgrade the spoiler to black carbon fiber (original was white, but at least carbon fiber...)
<img src="http://www.vf2ss.com/transfer/spoiler.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
do some major engine upgrades...
<img src="http://www.vf2ss.com/transfer/spoiler.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
oh...wait, you can't see those...Get new sideskirts (wingswest)...
<img src="http://www.vf2ss.com/transfer/wingswest.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
then decide to take off the emblem...
<img src="http://www.vf2ss.com/transfer/wingwest.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
then decide those sideskirts weren't aggressive enough and install Stacey's sideskirts (and reinstall emblem)...ah...that's much better...
<img src="http://www.vf2ss.com/transfer/staceys.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
...more engine upgrades...
...then some HID upgrades for the existing HID since it wasn't white enough...
<img src="http://www.vf2ss.com/transfer/hids.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
...then finally, the ducted hood upgrade (and tens of thousands of dollars later)...and voila! (...with still more and more upgrades to come.)
The new NSX-V (for voila)
<img src="http://www.vf2ss.com/transfer/ductedhood.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
My point? Here's a thought, maybe if the new NSX looks terrible, we can just mod the heck out of it so it looks good!
Wallet says ouch.

i can see why the team is having trouble living up to the NSX name..... anybody would, including pininfarina.... (although that ferrari concept is the hotness )

Drool. Pretty please Honda with sugar and a down payment on top:biggrin:
I guess the bad thing is they can't make that body style work with a front engine design:frown:

Looks like a Carrera GT-fied Gallardo. In response to my own post above... heheh...
Looks like McLaren's already making the next NSX:
P11
If this was 1996 or 1997 and Honda was answering Ferrari's 355 with a more powerful V8 of their own, then hell yeah! Otherwise when looking at this design and the cars of today I don't think it would meet crash standards. Compare the 300ZX to the 350Z, and the 355 to the 430 and you'll see that the body panels on the present day cars are much higher, as if imitating a tub of some sort. I hate this trend, by the way, and would much rather see an evolution of the NSX design rather than another bathtub-mobile.<img src="http://www.vf2ss.com/transfer/ductedhood.jpg" border="0" alt="" /><br />
They can't find a design for the NSX, because they chose to do a FR layout to be with the rest of the bandwagon groupie. The car is going to cost over 100k mostlikely, so you might it as well keep it in an expensive setup. Their is nothing cheap about a V10.
Because the ASC was like a turd on wheels, it made the HSC more desirable, which i think, didnt look good either. Better then the ASC, but not worth it.
Front engine GT <--- new nsx... YIKES!!!!!!!
I have no idea what Honda is doing, but me 2007 Civic Type R also sux. Its well made and full of options, but the Type R feeling is nowhere to be found.
