NSX 'production version' to be at Detroit / NAIAS 2013...what will we see?

How are you guys on lists? My local dealership isn't forming a list but they took down my info and said they will keep me updated. Does being an existing NSX owner help--I figure it should help you get near the top, no?

Meeyatch, does your friend on the inside know if there will be a true manual option? I think I'm afraid I already know the answer but it's worth asking again to somebody connected.

I was on my dealer's wait list for 17 or so years.
After the concept car was launched I went my dealership, put down a deposit and have a written agreement.
I think it helped that I am an original owner and have had my servicing done at the dealership.

As far as the transmission goes I believe it's a dual clutch manual like the Porsche DSG.
By true manual do you mean manual shifting of gears?

I guess having had (3) NSXs and 18 years straight of NSX ownership may have helped. LOL!

As far as the transmission, I didn't ask, but I will when I speak with him next. That is a good question, and I cannot believe I missed it. I guess when the call started out, 'Hey, Mitch....are you sitting down? Because I have some new NSX info that you will love...,' I was caught off-guard.
