i think the most interesting thing about this thread is, according to a post on sexy garage, two competing nsx-focused sites have gone online in the past 10 days or so.

reminds me of www.handwavium.com... where anything is possible.

why is the local time for the site GMT? Thats somewhere in Europe isnt it?

I know you can customize it to your own local time, but I was asking about the site's local time zone, its as if it were based out of somewhere in Europe. as someone pointed out, its the default setting. I think it might even be Zulu time.

Many of the paramaters for the forums have default settings that come with the software, and the default can be changed by the site administrator. It appears that, with the new site, they just used all the parameters straight out of the box. It makes sense that GMT (Greenwich Mean Time, which is the same as "Zulu"), which is often used as the "standard" reference time zone worldwide, would be the default setting that comes with the software, and thus has nothing to do with the location of the site owner.
