Delivery day for my new NSX.
I drove my 91 down for servicing and picked up my new one.
The dealer set up this pic.
The 1991 I've owned since new and the 2017

sweet JD.....That would be my color

Beautiful. 1st of every Generation.
Just locked in my order today.
I am dreaming of that day.

Have you needed any major repairs on your 91?

The only unexpected repair in 25 years was a seized bolt holding the right rear control arm.
Removing the bolt to replace a worn bushing in the control arm resulted in a stripped thread in the rear suspension beam.
I could have had the threads in the beam time-serted or heli-coiled but opted to replace the complete beam which was expensive.
Otherwise normal maintenance and very reliable.

Steve I sure hope so.
25 years detailing my black NSX is more than enough.
The silver is low profile and, as you say, an easy color.

Fond memories of following your black '91 down 101 on the Oregon/CA coast to
Monterey for '99 NSXPO @ Laguna Seca (in our NSX caravan of
Pacific NW owners).

Remember the Oregon State Police getting a heads up from someone for a bunch
"Corvette" drivers going at a high rate of speed and consequently stopping us?

Over 170 NSX's that year....

My son wanted to see the redwoods so we left the convoy at Avenue of the Giants in NorCal and did a brief tour.
We then tried to catch up to the convoy and met a CHP whilst doing 106 mph.
He ticketed me at 98 mph, saying if he wrote it over 100 he had to arrest me and tow the car.
A $570 ticket and a priceless memory for my son.
