Definitely a bit on the cheesy side but being in the world of marketing, it's very hard to impress people in general these days...

We do quite a bit of work with Lamborghini and McLaren cars and they really do well with their customer service and branding image, Lamborghini of course has been around a long time so they have this perfected but McLaren being a relatively new entry since 2012 has moved really fast observing their counterparts. Seems to be the hip brand here, at least around Silicon Valley.
 
Ok, time to consider the McLaren story board

Magnificent racing history
Grounddbreaking F1 road car
Silence
12C kind of overbuilt in terms of unit volume, quality issues, quickly surpassed by 650S and resale values issues
sounds bad for McLaren
P1 limited production hyper car sells out (I have seen 2 in storage that will never get used)
power upped 675 models selling well at very high MSRP
MSO program for customization well received
next hyper car in the works
smattering of so called limited production iterations
570S attacks the $200k space and arrives prior to the Ferari Dino
570GT to add a panache touch for weekending use
540S for non US markets
Story looks kind of good at this point
