Thanks for the email, Gerard. Yes, sounds nice. I would like to come.
I also have some info for all you guys. Somebody from the NSX club UK contacted me about their trip to the Nurburgring 25-28 March 2005. It’s a S2000 thing and my friend is going with his NSX. I will also go (NSX).

so a Dutch friend from Weert with a Lotus Elise and I will meet (don’t know the date yet) near Liege. I live 40 minutes from Liege too, so, then its motorway to Eupen, exit, drive through the hills to Monschau, and through the hills to the Nurburgring. Hills all the way, and all the way back (through the hills, or did I mention that already…?). We will be only one day there since its only 2 hours from Liege.

Do any of you want to come with us? We have not signed up or anything official, we will just turn up. We only have to set a date (sometime between 25-28 March). The main reason I’m going is to meet up with the British NSX friend and also the see the track for the first time, so it’s a casual affair.
You are welcome to meet up with us.
And there is something else, more for the serious driver too.
Every year some friends form a “Road Trip” for 5 days in Alsace. It takes us about 4.5 hours (from Belgium) to get there. The Grand Ballon (near Mulhouse in the Alsace) and other peaks there are full of motorcycles and we chase them. It’s an area filled with twisty roads. You will leave quite a lot of your tyre rubber there and your brakes get red hot. And we arrange to have no police or speed cameras in the entire area. And, yes, you really can catch and pass about 75% of the motorcycles (to their surprise…).
It’s not an NSX only thing, I usually bring my Cossie, some guys bring Lotuses, Alfas and Porsches. This year we have rented a big blue house for the 9 people. 23-28 April 2005. We keep it cheap, sometimes we stay in a camping with those big caravans.
It is for car-people only, no girls (unless the girl has a car too. There is one girl there this year and last year with a Porsche. And she is pretty fast too). Wives will only get bored/sick of the twisty roads, car conversations and the car museum etc.
So it is a car driving, car videos/dvds (we bring a TV and DVD/video player), car magazines, cars books, cars cars cars, trip. Sometimes we visit the Schlumpf museum etc.
If any of you want to come, you are welcome (but the blue house is full now). But there are plenty of other places to stay, I will help you if you want.
Please let me know…
Peter
