this is an amazing thread.
those photos of the nsx before paint are sooooo sexy. i'd love to see an NSX with a complete brushed-aluminum look...... <IMG SRC="http://www.dailyconfession.com/forum/icon_smile_tongue.gif">

A totally polished NSX would be cool....maybe instead of a repaint on mine... ;)

Absolutely wonderful pictures.
I always have believed the NSX is the only true supercar ever to come out of Japan, however good and powerful other cars are. I also think that the care these teams put into the manufacturing of any NSX it at least some proof of that.

what kind of blue is this, long beach california blue?

Simply inspirational. This pictures should make us more appreciative on how unique and special our cars really are. However many cars are manufactured this way with such dedication and attention to detail?

I am still amazed at how many people are totally suprised that the NSX is hand made?

It's Japanese... shouldn't it be built by robots???

I actually don't know if I can be more appreciative of the NSX...

The cars are supercars and you don't have to live with all those annoying faults that the Italians call "character" and I don't have to fork out big money everytime I get it even serviced let alone if something actually goes wrong like a german car!

The NSX is the PERFECT SUPERCAR... IMHO

I will continue to appreciate it, love it and DRIVE it forever, or until they release the new one!

Amen brother!

You can rice an NSX and make it bling, or you can keep it relatively stock with it's timeless supercar looks. What other supercar can you rice up a little without it looking stupid? A 360? I dun think so...

everytime I look at pics like this makes me not want to modify the car..

group tour ?? I want.. wonder if its possible ?

WOW! Those are incredible. Love to be able to see it first hand. Is that common to be able to take pics, or were they special people. When I went to MB in Germany, photography was a no no.

 Excellent Pictures! Do you have more in high resolution? Thanks!

Was this the first time Honda allowed visitors to see the process? I'm just wondering if this is the last year of the nsx and honda thus opened their doors to the public to see for the last time.

I found references on the web that indicate that arrangements can be made for Honda factory tours. No specifics on how, but apparently has been done in the past.

Great find!! thnks for sharing

group tour would be totally insane- maybe combine the Tokyo Auto Salon and some other interesting sites!

Visiting the birthplace of my car would be awesome...seeing where it all began. :D

..is it wrong that I'm checking to make sure my girlfriend isnt looking.. I feel like I'm looking at porn.

Hello Guys

THese pictures are great and i can tell you from out off my own experience this factory is very hot. I have been there in 2001.

Whe were 10 days in Japan only for Honda visiting.

We fly from Holland to Japan, first we stayed in Tokyo for 2 days, visit the Honda Iwasa garage in Tokyo ( honda s800 specialist) after that we drove througt japan in 2 N400 cars and one honda civic mugen (1978) to the Motegi Circuit. Beinig at this circuit and visiting Honda Funlab, Museum, and driving some rounds on the circuit with a honda integra type R etc it is amazing how big en professionaly this all is organised. after those days we got to The honda NSX factory. When you drive on the main road to the factory you see the big buildings, parkingplaces, sportsscool etc.
Visiting the factory was unbelievable. In this factory the produces at that time the NSX. S2000 and the Insight.

After this visit we when to Suzuka circuit, at that time there was the general HOnda s800 meating, ( 55 cars where there) we drove on the circuit with al those 55 cars. Man what a long circuit this is. On this circuit we met mister Nakajima, ( the NSX man from japan)

To be a littel bit short on this forum we were also in the Honda headquarters ( specialy invited) and a lot of other things we did.

It was an unbeleavable trip, but 10 days without our children ( 2 and 4 years old) was a secrefice but it made itt worth.
Only one thing was not nice, we where in Japan when those airplanes flew in to your empire state builings. SO we had some problems coming home at that time.

I wil see iff i can find some pictures from the factory and the trip in japan.

greatings fron holland

Since this is the last year of production for the Nsx, our time for a plant tour is dwindling fast.

Why dont we try to organize a group tour/event ? I know id be willing to fly to Japan if we could organize an event like this (Already been to Japan twice), and with this being our last opportunity to ever do this, Im sure there would be others.
