ok as another update..
car has been at SOS for 3 weeks now for some minor and not so minor work.
i am having it swapped from AEM FIC to AEM standalone, but sos is having some issue with variable voltage.. turns out my main harness has an issue...
it was spliced in 2003 for the SSbox for the bbsc. then in about 2007 or 2008 Mark (Basch) offered to replace my harness with a "new in box" harness if i paid for labor only ($800). said he'd had the harness in his shop for years and had no use for it.
Well, it turns out i've still got my old harness. Maybe the loss opf $800 from my wallet will incease my trap speed? especially if it was in pennies.
the old harness has multiple abraided wires with exposed cores rubbing potentially on the metal of the car.
So right now i'm on hiatus from extensively driving the first SOS OBD 2 twin turbo setup while that gets replaced (again??? first time? geez i am losing count here...)
