NSX driver killed in Massachusetts crash

it makes no sense to have no center divider guard rails. if the state is too cheap to do so at lease rough up the landscape to reduce the speed. Dip is useless. it should be a mount between the 2 sides.

god bless everyone involved in such as misfortune.

...This particular NSX may not be known by our Prime community. Here in Houston I think we have maybe a dozen NSXs in our group but over 300 registered owners with the DMV...

How do you know how many NSX owners are registered there??

Don't know if it's still the case, but you used to be able to buy the DMV databases. I used to have a quarterly subscription from a company that sold the data which included MA, NH and a few other state for $99/year (they had a lot of other states available as well). I think the laws have since changed, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were still some states that sold it.

Actually I'm not sure now, that's a Honda Civic and a minivan in that video. There is no acura (or any other 3rd car) shown.

Right, there haven't been any pictures of the third car.

And it disturbs me a bit to post this, but I suspect that the reason is because it's too gruesome for most news sites. I'm sure we've all seen pictures of cars where the occupants died, and very often they're not "publishable".

Just sad...

What confuses me is where the other car could even be....at the beginning of that clip they take a pretty wide angle and there are still only two cars....unless the thired car went down the ditch or something.

A Lowell Sun article identifies the "NSX" driver as Galina Kriger, 39, of
Belmont

I don't know what car she was driving, but yes, she did die in this accident.

Doesn't look like there's an NSX anywhere around those clips. Perhaps a TSX?

thats the thing, it was a 3 car accident... a minivan (shown), a civic (shown) and the third car (not shown) which the papers say was an NSX. no reason to believe otherwise at this point.

when the helicopter zooms WAY out, i took a screenshot and loaded it into photoshop and zoomed way in. it looks like over by the firetruck at the edge of the road, something off the road has a ton of black smoke billowing. everything is pixelated but that's likely the missing car.
