Which steering wheel is this?
Make them black. There should be nothing light-colored on this part of the car (dash, upper console) as light off it will reflect off the inside of the window and obstruct clear vision out the windscreen. Doesn't fit with the rest anyway (black would).

The OP's post of that one dash is hideous even put politely! 
These are the types of installs later the owner wished someone slapped him before he did that crap - no one will love it but himself...haha
The silver dash interior had some nice ideas in how he mounted the radio to reduce glare but he took the wrong approach - way too many angles and that vent does look like two bullfrog eyes ~yuck!
Vroom: Do you have a focused center picture of your dash setup say from the roof downwards? I saw your car in pictures before and love the RDX setup, very brave and mad props for doing something different!

Correction: not aftermarket, from RDX
and yes the flash makes the image look different. There are many textures but they are all similar tone.
