Hi all,

Lexus have not said anything about whether this will be on the production right? Do u think Lexus will produce new sc successor that will be influenced by the LF-LC?

If for no other reason than to stick it to Honda they would. Besides once Honda makes the NSX announcement they really will be upping the hybrid game.

Nice tid bit from Car and Driver

We’re still in the proverbial dark about what (theoretically) powers the LF-LC concept, although we do know that it’s supposed to be a hybrid. Given its show-car status, we think the powertrain may turn out to be more fantasy than fact. If the LF-LC’s motivator does end up being something tangible, though, we’d like to see something like the gasoline engine and electric motor from the LS600hL. In that car, the world’s most luxurious sofa, they pair to make 438 hp.

Of course more than 400hp to start from a Hybrid V8:biggrin:

neat offering, but different ballgame...

A Lexus L-Finesse styled LS-based coupe w/ LF-A influences will more than likely be a $100k - $125k luxo' coupe aimed at the Mercedes Benz CL. Hardly a performance/handling wonder, which instead I truly hope the forthcoming Honda/Acura model aspires to be.
