NSX collectability getting a little press today

Its amazing how schizophrenic we primers are. We gush about how much we love our cars and swear to never, ever sell them - then we deride anyone else's opinion or evidence that they're actually as special and valuable as we say they are. Makes no sense to me.

91 NSX do sell for $40-45k here in Europe within some months if their condition is 1-2, OEM and low miles. 97+ are even 10k higher as they are rare over here. The key point is if its maintainance is up to date and the history is free of stories.

The main reason cars are not selling is because of the lack of maintainance or other stories or high (dealer) pricing. And there are the clever/dreaming guys who think they can ask the same money for their car with a bulkload of maintainance work to be done by the next owner. :)
