NSX and Lamborghini Countach LP400S

I think someone around the Aliso Viejo, CA area has a Red LP400 not sure if they are still around as it has been about a year since I have seen it driving around. Got a chance to pull up behind it in my NSX once. The looks are dated but I still give the car its due as being the exotic that it is. Thumbs up.

This reminded me of this clip from youtube....possibly the meanest sounding street car I have ever heard.....like the scream of satan himself...

Notice all the blue smoke. Now you know why the engine holds 18 quarts of oil.

My very first NSX meet (as an owner)was an Irvine Starbucks meet organized by "Icefire". He invited a friend ( I think the guy's name was Ernie--a dentist from South O.C.). Anyway, this friend shows up w/ an '89 Countach...one of the last ones made.....I think it only had 9000 km on the odometer. I sat in it....the angular lines of the interior were SOOOOO different from the IMAX windshield view of the NSX. I really didn't like it........but......he started that thing up and the sound of the engine was INCREDIBLE !!!!!!!!!!

That's a Kreissieg exhaust. One of the largest exotic car tuner from Japan.

A long time ago I rode in an M60 military tank with a buddy who was in the National Guard. The first time I sat in mine, it reminded me of being inside that tank. Visibility was about the same too. Definitely not the ideal car for anyone with claustrophobia.

I wouldn't be surprised if the rise in price correlated with audi taking over the helm of lamborghini. The amount of "real" lamborghini's are now quite an elite crowd, especially the older ones. I do not consider the audi lamborghini's to be the same as the original models, although I also do not consider them inferior or superior. Two different directions with different recources to get there.
