I'm suspecting my right HID balast is begining to flake on me. When the balast is cold, say after parking the car overnight or for many hours, the balast turns on, although it flikers a little bit before it gets there.
If I drive for 30 minutes and the balast gets warm/hot, it is extremely difficult to get it to come back on. If I flip back and forth a number of times, sometimes it works, though most of the times it does not.
The connections look good, and as I mentioned, this scenario is reproable pretty much everytime.
Any thoughts on how to address? I've heard that the S2000 balast are cheaper and of higher quality, and they work on the NSX. If someoen coudl confirm or provide alternative solutions that would be awesome.
NOTE: I had both light bulbs replaced, and this continued to be the case so it wasn't that. Connections are good afaik.
Thanks,
-Paul
