Lemme just get to the point.

The NJ turnpike has recently installed cameras along the road way. The are in places that lead to the bridges and tunnels and other locations which need to be monitored more closely. This recently came to light when a buddy who is on the job callled one of our friends and let him know that he was spotted doing over 100 mph by one of the state troopers who was on the watch that day. My friend was shocked to say the least .

They are not giving out tickets yet if they catch you on camera doing something wrong but they are dispatching the reports out to the field when they see something goind down.

You have been warned !

How can they tell by a camera how fast you're going? By speed gun?

I would take a guess that they can tell by how fast you are going approixmately by timing your speed from road marker to road marker.

Where are these, specifically? I roar up the NJTP and I have never yet gotten a ticket. You talking about Exit 14? 18E? I mean, where? They couldn't have these down at Cherry Hill or whatever. There's nothing to blow up down there.
