There are couple Chevys running around Sarasota now with those giant rims. One of them is just up the street, I'll try to get a snapshot. It's not a terrible looking car except for the clown wheels.
Is there something about that area that just breeds giant rims? I visited there a few years ago and was blown away to see the amount of Escalades and Navigators with 24+ inch wheels.
Somebody just for the heck of it needs to photoshop those rims on a NSX!
Funny, I tried to snap a picture of a car that looked a lot like that off of the 405. I don't think 22s are that big. They look more like 24s or 26s. Hard to tell
That type of setup is VERY common in my area. Regals, Cutlass, Monte Carlos, Caprices, and Impalas all riding on HUGE rims. I have several customers with $1200 cars, $5000 stereo and $5000 rims Good for my bottom line
a screening process should exist before anyone spends $10,000 on rims and stereo for a POS like that... hideous and a disgrace to the automotive community, i hate tasteless mods.
sidenote:
alot of people would kill for $10,000 to feed their kids
That's why some people will always know what "Section 8" means. To them a POS w/rims like that means they have arrived. Unfortunately it usually means that where they have arrived is likely the local county motel or jail as others refer to it.
The good news is if anyone ever commits a crime in one of those POS, they won't be hard to find. Not that people that drive these types of cars are crooks mind you......
