Route Details Posted

Gentlemen, the route details have been posted online. I apologize for the delay in getting this out.

I will be PM'ing all participants the link and password to obtain the document. Please print it out and bring it with you on Saturday. If you didn't get a PM from me by this evening or have problems getting the PDF, please PM me your email address and I will send it to you directly.

Note that the start time has been changed:

Pre-meet: 9:00am - 10:00am
Start: 10:15am sharp

We will be getting a police escort onto the highway, so be there on time as we will leave whether all cars are there or not!

Hey Guys Just arrived into toronto and saw this post...is there room for one more? and how do I get into the like for the map and details

Mike

We may have a bit of challenge for lunch as we've gotten a bunch of last minute people joining in, but I've sent you a PM with all the details...

There's always a couple of last second cancellations so hopefully it'll all balance out! :)

Thanks to everyone who came out today! It was an awesome day, and we had quite an awesome gathering of machinery. The only sucky part was the AC situation in the restaurant -- unfortunately the power in the area went out. So instead of a nice, refreshing and pleasant lunch, it turned out to be a bit hellish because of the heat. Anyhow, overall I'm very pleased with the run. I think most people had a great time in spite of a couple of places where some people got lost!

Post up your pics!

EDIT: Launch video, missing a few cars but got most of them that were on the cruise (including a couple of random people that just showed up like the mini cooper etc) This was shot by one of the vette guys:

London, home

1. Whipped -> long day
2. Thanks Arshad, another great (HOT!) experience
3. 18 hours
4. $62 in fuel
5. 420 miles
6. not sure how many times our group was lost.

Disclaimer: Ok, some of the 18 hours are care of Sean and Becky. Thanks for having a few of us over for a cold beverage! And of course a 2 hour meal at the top of the Sheraton over looking Niagara Falls.

I'll follow with a link to some more pics tomorrow.

Thanks for all of the effort in putting that together Arshad. Between scouting the routes, the web page and putting together the pdf, I can see that you spent dozens of hours on this.

Thanks. It was great.

Just got into the house 5 mins ago (and of course I run straight to the comp).

Great finally meeting a lot of you guys...its amazing this internet forum thing. Arshad, sincere thanks for a great day and a memorable experience!

I met up with Ric afterwards at his place and remarked that I didn't know where all the nsx's went after the lunch when he reminded me of Sean's cottage--~D'OH!

Overall a great time. My baby reached a milestone on the way home tonight...crossed 100,000 kms :frown: and I made a few discoveries : 1-MH skirts don't like construction zones, 2-my clutch is slipping, 3-cops love porsches all lined in a row, and 4-even room temp cab sauv tastes great in 30 deg heat (indoors)!

Looking forward to the next one, and I'll post pics tonight as soon as I finish unpacking.

Cheers
John

Arshad, as usual this was an excellent event..Had a great time, and nice to see a great turn-out by the NSX Club of Canada members.

Can't wait for the Fall.

Bram

Thanks guys.

For future events, I'd like to get everyone's email addresses so I can contact everyone through a mailing list rather than through PM on the forum. This will make my life a LOT easier. Everyone in the NSX Club of Canada is automatically included (as long as we have your email address)

It should be an email address that is checked semi-regularly. The sole purpose of this list will be to send out 3 emails per cruise (2-3 per season):

1) Announcing the event
2) Route details once finalized
3) Post-event email with links to photos/videos

If you are part of the NSX Club of Canada and DO NOT want to be included on this list, please PM me. Thanks.

I'll send you what I've got. I think it's quite exhaustive.

Great job btw Arshad.
I didn't go on the cruise, but I heard so many participants express how much they enjoyed the cruise and look forward to it. The people at Strewn were so hyped about us coming to. Their head chef came in on his day off just to see the cars and make sure our lunch was up to par. A bunch of staff came in on their day off to! I think we classed up the place. :) Send me the name of the person you were dealing with and I'll send them a thank-you letter.

OK, Finally some pics, Sorry for the delay.

My neighbors must think I'm nuts. Home last night, from the cruise at 2am, then stayed outside to wash the car. Had to have it at a photo-shoot by 8:30am this morning. 200+ photographers taking pics of very nice looking girls in and around the NSX. :-)
A couple shots from that session are at:
http://www.bradandsue.com/nsx/20070708/

And close to 90 pics from our cruise yesterday.
Not edited down very much, so there should be something for everyone in this batch.

Congrats everybody on the hardware. Some really good looking stuff there!!!

Don't ya just hate it when that happens...
I didn't even get her name. :-(

(1 of about 6 models that were around for the day)
High-profile Camera store in London, hosted an event at an estate here in London. Yearly event. First time I've been. Looked to be close to 1000 people milling around. All the major camera manufacturers were there with pretty much everything they supply. Avail for anybody to borrow to try out for a half hour.
