Out of town right now I will post the offsets and weights when I get back but there are no rubbing issues at all.

Can you post a pic from the back/side and front/side so we can see where the wheels are in relation to the fenders.

thanks

The lips are 2" in the front and 3.5" in the rear and your making more out of the bore than need be it does not effect anything except make the wheel hubcentric so disregard this as it is not negative they do that to a lot of different wheels.

Yea i was thinking the same thing.
10 more lbs for a 9.5in wide compared to a 8.5in wide 19in wheel ? Don't know, but thats what they sent me.

I've got it cleared up-- those are the 2 offsets available for each size. No weights were given.

Nope the back ones were close though so don't expect them to fit a BBK when they were ordered they had to bore the rears(make them hubcentric) prior to shipping but it only takes an extra day b4 delivery.

Was it expensive to have the boring done?

ok let me clear this "boring" thing if I never said anything you would never even know about it it doesn't cost a thing all wheel companies do this to make the wheel hubcentric to the specific car period it has no effect on the outcome of the wheel so disregard the "boring" thing

sorry to ask again. Is it something they must do to make the wheels fit or something you have to request in order for the wheels to be hubcentric, which we want.

Have you found out the weight of the wheels?

Thanks.

Brent,
Those are the wheels I have on my NSX. They are Fikse FM/5. 17x8 front and 18x10 rear. I don't know the offset, but they are perfect for the NSX. I like the look, they are multipiece, the rivets are hidden and they are light. I like them b/c they are only 17lbs in front and about 19-20lbs in the rear.

Look at http://fikse.com/fm5.html. I think Fikse sells them direct, and I've seen them priced around $3,500 for a 17/18 set (retail). I'm sure street prices are lower at authorized Fikse dealers.

so whats with the boring?

and these wheels "do not" need spacers correct?

Also anybody know the lip on the 19x9.5 and 18x8?

I have spoken with a few different distributors of the wheel, as well as the manufacturer. They recommend a 5mm spacer on the rear.

I keep getting conflicting info also on the spacer issue- even from the Discount Tire that did the install on special k's car. I believe the only correct answer to this issue will come from "special k" who is the only one with the wheels on.
Special K are you out there...?
Can you please clear this up for us ?
Much thanks!

Went to get my R505 Chromes installed last night. The fronts weren't bored out enough to fit the hub. They're getting them machined today to fit the car. So, hopefully I'll have them on tonight. The clearance on the rear is very, very small. They were supposed to send a spacer and didn't. I'm not sure how it's going to work, but I'll just have to find out tonight. The wheels look fantastic.............I guess that's one thing they did right.
