New Shelby concept

Anyone seen these pictures yet? .. sort of the 'Viper GTS' version of the new Shelby Cobra concept. Looks a hell of a lot better than the roadster IMO.

Ford unveiled the Shelby GR-1 concept at the 2004 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on August 15, 2004. The GR-1 is the coupe form of the Shelby Cobra Roadster and is expected to replace the Ford GT in model year 2007. The engine is a 6.4L V-10 with 605 horsepower and 501 pound/feet of torque.

Definitely looks promising...

Correctly priced, it will be a great (domestic) competitor in the "entry-level supercar" stakes: Lambo Gallardo, Ferrari 360/430 and Porsche 911TT/GT2
