Would love to see how many midnight pearl owners there are. I had never seen this color NSX prior to buying mine. I love the color and have heard mostly good things about the blue/purple look. I would love to see other's like mine and look at the rim tire packages, and extras on them. I don't want to be a poser but I would like to buy the NSX-R hood and spoiler (wiht no R on the spoiler, just NSX)....maybe someone has this set up?
thanks!!! I'll start, here's my car but i've since taken these wheels/tires off and have a new set, will have to update my pic with new look..:)

I was pretty iffy on the idea of a purple car. But I finally saw one a few months ago in L.I. in New York and it was stunning. Pictures really don't do it justice. I still don't think I could find myself driving one around, but it is great to see something else besides the red/silver/black usual suspects. Enjoy it and the incredible rarity!

I can understand a guy not liking it....for sure. But it's great for a chick!!! :)

nice nice nice, I to was on the wall about that color but saw one in person at a Dealership and it was stunning,

hows your wallet holding up? as it will continue to hurt once the upgrade bug hits you. it slowly hit me. then it was an all out heart attack.

LOL

but your gonna love it and welcome to the world of Ferrari Killers.

Welcome to Prime! Midnight Pearl is one of my favorite NSX colors, and is my wife's fav. What is great about the color is that it can look black, blue or purple depending on the lighting. And the pearlescent effect is amazing.

My personal opinion is that the OEM 16/17 gunmetal wheels look the best on this color over all others for the NSX. But, you need to lower the car about an inch to get it to look right.

As for the NSX-R update, if you do it you should do it all the way or not at all. :) That means hood, bumper, headlights, side skirts, valence and 2002+ wheels. A Midnight Pearl NA2 NSX-R would be badass. I don't think I've ever seen one of those.

Thanks everyone for the insight and info. I did take the asanti/ pirelli pkg off which were 19s but i put some 17s on it now with a machined face set of wheels. I look forward to doing the nsx r upgrade and thanks for the details as to what all that includes. I need to do more homework and look at more pics...was kinda concerned about lookng like a poser...hate to get dogged for it! So nice to hear that not all guys hate the midnight pearl look.. thanks!!!

NOOOOO! You took those wheels off? They looked sweet! Im not a purple fan no matter what you do to it. So maybe dont listen to me.

Lol, i respect everyone's opinion but those wheels were 19s all the way around and they were just to much "bling" and too big...i want the eye to be drawn to the car, not the GInormous rims on it...they were beautiful wheels and it they'd fit my corvette, i might have put them on it but they don't fit...:frown: so, i'm trying to sell them now...

For those asking about my NSX;

It has KW V3 coilovers...about 2" drop, corner balanced.

Wheels are Work Miesers 3 piece, 17's front, 18's rear.

Original paint!

LOL! they are beautiful but way too small for me...There was an 03 model one sitting next to my NSX on the showroom floor and I got in it, and was shocked at how tiny they are...beautiful but the cockpit is toooo tiny for me. I'm trim, but i'm tall...5'11 :) but yours is very pretty....

Are you kidding? It's much more roomy then the NSX. I'm 6' and my hair touches the nsx top sometimes.

Cody's original LoveFab shop car is a '92 that was painted Midnight Pearl with a satin clearcoat, it is a cool color for sure!

Being a non-glossy version of purple really imparts a somewhat menacing nature, and of course it helps that it's got the power to back it up ;^D

Junk in 'da trunk

Dark wheels help seal the deal.........
