New NSX toys spotted at WalMart

I was in Walmart buying 5 qt bottles of Mobil-1 today and found a neat NSX miniature, about 3" long. It was a yellow 91-00. It was a kit, where the car is stock, but you can add all the JGTC goodies...hood, sides front and back. $2.96 and I got the last one. There were many others in the series like the IS 300, etc. It surprised the heck out of me when I saw it. I also noticed that they had a new version of the radio controlled NSX for $20. It was Imola Orange, unlike the red or black ones they had several years ago.

Nice find. What you saw was a rebrand and reprice of the Maisto Excess Tuners NSX that sold last year for about 5.99 - 7.99.

At $2.96, it doesn't hurt to buy a few to perhaps experiment with painting. (But those wheels gotta go!!!)

Yup, that's it. It is rebranded, but identical. Silver available too.

I bought 4!!! 2 yellow and 2 silver. I kept 1 as is for each color, and did the JGTC look on the other!! Damn good for under $3 each!
