Welcome aboard! BTW, I'm a huge Amiga fan as well! I was very heavily into it back in the hey-dey! I worked on a commercial game, as well as a video editing package integrated with the toaster for all CG and effects. I see from your site that you're also into the video scene. I actually spent a lot of time working with the toaster and reverse engineered all of their SW in order to do some interesting unsupported tricks with the HW to make it more effective. Another one of the projects I worked on was a single frame controller for the Amiga that Amblin Entertainment (Seaquest DSV) and the Babylon 5 guys used to dump all their lightwave renderfarm 24bit images to laserdisc.
Are you involved at all with the Amiga One project? I'm not into the scene anymore, but I still have a lot of very fond memories and still have a couple of Amiga's lying around in my basement

Yes I'm. I have an AmigaOne running OS4 it's so much fun to have a great car and computer too. Still sell Video Toasters only for the PC now. By the way my lic plate reads AMIGA OS

Hehe, yeah I went to the Newtek booth at CES last year and saw the toaster running on a PC. I see you are a real Amiga nut Like I said I was very very heavily into the scene back in the late 80's and early 90's, but haven't touched it in many years. I almost became involved in it again when one of the companies that had bought the rights to the Amiga approached ATI (where I work) to develop the graphics for a revived machine. Alas, that never worked out, but I see that it now supports generic 3D HW. I wrote to the guy who developed the Radeon9000 driver for the machine (linked from amiga.org) offering assistance/information for improving the driver.
And by the way, we consider Tracy as part of our greater Sacto NSXCA territory  ...... Ken, nice try with all the east Bay geography in the NW forum
