New NSX Owner in NY

I registered the car today, and just as other owners had mentioned the person at the dmv asked me if the selling price was correct and why a 1991 was so expensive. I just smiled and said it was rare and somewhat of a exotic car.

They were most likely wondering why you told them the actual sale price. Most people have another receipt that shows a lower sale price to pay less tax when registering a car.

congrtats on your purchase....im down in long island..however bought mine from a guy in haverstraw on the other side of bear mountain...my brother has a 91 black ivory in his garage...dont think been used in about 2 years...true garage queen...mine not much better avg about 200 miles per year...pros and cons of workng less then mile from your house...now use a 50cc scooter to commute..plus 3 other cars in the stable...either way goodluck and many miles and years of enjoyment...
