For the paltry sum of $30 or so you can add a fuel pressure gauge to your NSX. I think it is a valuable tool that will give you an instant visual of this all important piece of information. All that's needed is a B&M 46054 Fuel Pressure Gauge and some thread sealant. When installed it looks like it came from the factory. It fits the space next to the brace perfectly.

The gauge is available everywhere including Advance Auto, Pep Boys and a million mail order houses. The instructions call for teflon tabe but Hondabond HT is better. You need to remove the banjo bolt securing the fuel line that leads to the fuel rails on the engine.

*A word of caution* Although the banjo bolt is only torqued to about 20 lb-ft when installed, the NSX Gods somehow magically torque it to a gazillion lb-ft while you're asleep. In other words, using a power impact driver to loosen Mr. Banjo is going to make your life a lot easier. Using hand tools will be about as pleasurable as brushing your teeth with shards of glass. You've been warned. :) Here are a couple of pics.

I am ever amazed at all the stuff you come up with.

Then you'll be in awe when I reveal my new invention to the world at NSXPO. It involves running a vacuum hose from the engine compartment into the cockpit and hooking it up to one of these things......

Basically the premise is simple.....the faster you go, the greater the "suction". You get the idea I hope.

does that gauge have a peak and hold on it? If not that would also be a good piece of info for any rising rate setups.

For obvious health reasons, test drives will not be permitted.

For you to even ask that question has me asking myself a few questions about you.

Is that your idle fuel pressure? Seems a bit high.

Henry.

Actually I was going 80 MPH. I attached a bungee cord to my waist and hoisted myself with camera in hand out of the car to snap that incredible shot. Hope you all appreciate it.

I had one of them ebay one once, it keak all the fluid out. It was on my gsr though.
I just bought a new one from Russell. Will install tomorrow. Russell one look good.

I just installed the russell one. So far so good. No fuel leak. Fluid still good. I will upload pic later.
Here's mine. I like the black and yellow look of the Russell gauge. Total cost $50.
$39shipped gauge
$10 banjo bolt from Autozone (also russell)

I just finished changing the fuel filter and installing a fuel pressure gauge. I also cleaned the IAT sensor. The IAT sensor looked very dirty, as others have said, in another thread. My fuel pressure stays on 40PSI, from idle to 4K RPM. Engine wasn't warmed up fully, so I didn't try going more. Howard
