I would have liked to have seen the center seating position retained but I guess you have to be practical. Interested to see the performance numbers from the production car.

Projected weight under 2700 lbs.

600 hp.

Power to weight ratio of 4.5 lbs per hp, just shy of the 4 lbs per hp of the Bugatti Veyron. This car is going to MOVE!

Not quite as aggressive as I had hoped.. (not that I'm in the market for one anyhow). I like the original... still looks amazing to me.

This one is a little too smoothed out... too much lotus Evora and not enough lotus Exige.

I like more wings/vents/punch in my super cars.

The rear and the doors are very evocative of the original. Although the interior is more conservative, it's understandable in today's real-life marketplace.

I like it.

It better have that weight to power ratio to meet or exceed their F1.

The back has too much of a Lotus Elise. The design is not spectaculous but timeless I think.

This wasn't intended to be an F1 successor, but rather a Gallardo/F458 competitor, slightly more expensive than them, but a lot more performance. Unlike the ~100 F1's made, they plan on making 1000 of these a year.
Gordon Murray just recently said there are plans for an F1 successor in the works.
Overall...its a bit bland to me I think the F458 is a much better looking car. I do like the very business oriented interior though. Loving the little turbinesque air vents.

Looks like an eclipse rear. Don't like it.

Stephen

I thought the same thing when I saw the rear. Overall its nice but not as impressive/breathtaking when the F1 came out.

Umm center seating with two side seats is way more practical than having two girls seat in one passenger seat:biggrin:

The car looks more like a next gen Lotus Esprit to me than a Mclaren.... the interior reminds me of a Pontiac Solstice!!

Hi,

about the HTT, look at it's engine bay and rear diffuser/extractor (images not shown on the link above)
They found a way to install the radiator on the back, preventing the use of long coolant lines to the front

The NSX is my all time fav design however, if I wanted a new modern NSX this is it!

I just wish the pricing were around $100k then I'd be tempted to get a loan!

Such a lovely car...can't wait to see one in person.

They look like HRE wheels to me - 590R, maybe? - but the spokes terminate differently since it's a high offset wheel.

Porsche makes a similar wheel for their 911 as well.
