New FORMULA silver TE-37's arrived!

Nice finish on those wheels. They should be able to fit your bbk, especially if you run that spacer. Lookin forward to the pics :]

what a tease, i'd love to put those on my car.

just a thought, for test fit, you could just mounting the caliper bracket and caliper and the snap the wheels on it...

There're only 9 nuts to be removed

Here is an old pic I found. I believe the owner of this NSX is from south Asia. I chopped it so the ride height is similar to mine and tried to make the wheels "formula silver."

We appreciate your business and are glad to see you are very happy with your wheels. The wheels make the car look REALLY NICE! :). Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks,

I am guessing you only have stoptechs on the front , that rear will only clear stock brakes -

I have front/rear stoptechs. Are you suggesting that the rear stoptechs will not clear the rear TE's even with a 5mm spacer (which will put me @ +29). If not,, how much mm room do you think I need based on your experience? I might be able to safely go with a 10mm spacer in the rear instead of 5mm. My car is very low and cambered out compared to most.

I can easily get away with a 10mm spacer with the TE's. My logic:

Here are my advans with a 5mm spacer (so essentially, 18x10 +30), as you can see, I still have some more room to play with. If I used a 10mm spacer on the TE's (which I probably will do), then the offsets of the TE's will be +24.

7.5" +24 = 10" +30

Hopefully a 10mm spacer with the TE's in the rear will allow for stoptech clearance.

Best way to tell is to download the template from stoptech , or you can use the "two ruler method" , I put one ruler across the wheel pad , and one between the spoke and the first ruler (so the two rulers form a cross), measure at about 6" from the exact center of the wheel , you need about 43-45mm .

IF you are downloading the template from stoptech , BE SURE to size it correctly before printing it out or your measurements will be off.

IF your wheels fit , I am coming to your house to repo them... I'm putting on my cat burglar outfit now -

how come you didnt just order a lower offset TE insted of using spacers??

19x9.5 +22 TE would of had more concave but no lip.... the 19x9.5 +34 wheel have very little space for calipers.. but with 10mm spacer im sure your gonna have no problem

either way wheels are very nice cant wait to see it on the car :D

19x9.5 +22 isn't too bad, but still slightly more aggressive then ideal. When I shop for wheels, I have to think long term (ie selling them when I get bored). Not many NSX owners want +22 in rear, nor can they get away with it.

Hmm , I am pretty sure 9.5 with a 22 will rub unles you stretch a narrow tire and/or crank up the camber

It's harder to order the TE's since Volk doesn't use the A-B-C face , they use the stupid confusing symbols to confuse you...

love the TE/LE-37's
starting to miss mines

What's the spec on those rear wheels? I'm really considering ordering 19x10.5 +22 I think if I stretch a tire it'll clear , and maybe even clear the stoptechs...

And my quest for wheels will continue! Those are the wheel I wanted for my car...great! :frown:
