 Well, guys, I have my new NSX, and I just had a custom Flowmaster setup installed tonight with 2.5" mandrel-bent pipes. However, after getting it made and put on, the engine will now cut out at 7,000 RPM on acceleration. It sounds somewhat like a rev limiter, but even more drastic. The engine just flat cuts out. I had no problems yesterday revving all the way to 8,000 with the stock exhaust.

My car is a '91 with 39k miles. I still have the original cats on the car, which I assume to be in good shape.

My brother thinks it may be a fuel filter, since I am getting better flow now, and it needs more fuel, so may be starved there.

I haven't tried anything yet, but thought I'd post here to see if anyone else has had problems with this or had ideas.

Thanks in advance for the help.

The car is a '91.

I performed the DIY ecu code check found in the FAQ. At least I THINK I did it correctly. I assume there is only one bright blue 2-pin plug under there. I did not receive any error codes.

That's a great thought. Where do I find that? Is there a FAQ on that?

Yes! That fixed the problem. Thanks so much for the help, BrianK! Now, on to driving!
