New daily driver for me.

I was mismatched. Daily driver for years was Grandma's 97 Camry (extremely low miles and perfect condition). With the NSX sitting in the garage. It was nice to have a car that you could park anywhere, not worry about door dings, etc. I was told by my Mom and Uncle (my boss) that I needed to finally get something more presentable for meeting with clients. Sold the Camry (70k miles in perfect shape) on Craigslist this morning in about an hour for exactly my price. And went and bought this 2013 with 9k miles in the afternoon. It's pretty damn quick. No buyers remorse with this one.

well now remembering your post about tracking that camry...........................

Nice new daily driver! I wish you better luck then I had with Audi.. My A4 1.8T I had as a beater car years ago ended up being the worst car I've ever owned. But that was a 97 a 13 should be way more advanced and hopefully more reliable.

When are you having the altimeter installed? Can it do a loop de loop? Does the landing gear fold up? Is there a first class section? What kind of drinks will be served on our trip to Florida? Is this a no smoking flight?

Nice car. Now you have a Senna connection, from what I've read he loved the Audi's.

Ps. What is your first thought on the lost Malaysia 777?

Last report I read said two passengers on board had stolen Italian and Austrian passports. 777s just don't fall out of the sky. Any emergency would at least give time to make a distress call.

After two days of driving, I have to say the Audi S-tronic dual clutch (7 speed auto) is as good as the Porsche PDK I had driven. If you leave it in Sport mode, it's still an auto but as you break, it throttle blips on the downshifts.

I like the car - A LOT :)

Hehe - You said "Break"!!

All kidding aside, Audi makes the best interiors in the entry luxury segment and their Turbo motors are quite reliable. Btw- Since VW owns Audi/Porsche, I am sure they share/ DCT technology!!

Give us a nice reviews after a month or so!

The people on stolen passports seems to be a bit of a red herring, perhaps. I can see how it gets someone past the watch list as a known terrorist, but then again a stolen passport name should be on a questionable list too. 777 s don't fall out of the sky is for sure. It takes effort based on its record. You had the last crash pegged the day it happened. This one will take a bit longer

The people with the stolen passports were two Iranians. And the person who bought the tickets for both of them was "Mr. Ali", another Iranian man. If I were a betting man these are your two bombers.

I'd rather have the CL65 or CL55 than an Audi (VW).

Fit and finish of the Audi is below a BMW, which is below a Benz IMHO.

Both of which, used are 3x the price.

BATMANs - do you ever do anything on here other than piss on everyone's parade? I mean, for the most part, no one on here gives you crap about your POS GM car.

I test drove the C300 4matic and the E350. The C series was extremely cheap and felt like what they would give you as a rental car in Berlin. The E series was OK, but just OK. You felt like you were overpaying for what you get and I felt like my hair was graying even as I sat behind the wheel test driving it.

After riding in my S4, my aunt who's last two cars were BMWs, went the next day to the Audi dealer and traded in her BMW 328i xdrive for an A6.

I'm not in love with the S4, it's not my dream car. But I wanted AWD and I paid basically KBB trade-in value for a 2013 with 10k miles. It was previously titled in MI to Volkswagen NA, so I guess it was a company car. I'm content and think it was a good enough deal that I will probably be able to keep it for a year or two and move on with out getting hosed. There were very few 2012+ S4s for sale nationally, where C300 4matics, 328i xdrives and A4s are a dime a dozen. It basically does everything well, but nothing great. It's plenty fast. 0-60 4.5 sec and 13.0 1/4. It's nice on the interior, feels solid and the silver looks great.

I talked about the GTO in your thread?

Ur name suggest a Benz. Does it not?

BATMANs technically correct. Canadair Regional Jet/Challenger 850 is CL-65. Pilots are lazy by nature, the dash is extra work. :)

As I said, does everything well and nothing great.

Great choice! If I was inclined to have a more engaging DD I would get that over a Benz or BMW. It is amazing how much bigger the A4 has gotten over the years. Your first pick looks like an A6 and is prob as big as a first gen A6.

Ahh, envious! I want a fun daily as well, but I couldn't pass up on this 08 328xi I ended up with. I've still heard a lot about Audi owners experiencing "carbon buildup" in the intake manifold that leads to real bad power loss... which turned me off from the RS4 I was eyeballing a while ago. hope this isn't/doesn't become an issue for you!

I had a 98 A4 30V 2.8 some years ago. Awesome car to drive and had every amenity I'd need and then some. However, when it came time for repair, man did that thing cause headache after headache. But, as someone else suggested, the newer ones should be more reliable and are VERY sharp looking cars!

Lazy? I wish I can call my old man that.

My old man flew and instructed this for many years: https://www.google.com/search?q=f-1...HogS7g4DoAg&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAQ&biw=1920&bih=1019

Your Dad must have been type 1 in the above link. We had a few of those. Reserve First Officers always had to fly with them, because the lineholders called in sick when they saw they were paired with them on the schedule.
