Does anyone know the exact size of those wheels? Is it 17 inch all around? What about the width?? Does the wheel look like it would be 17 x 7 +55 offset? By the way, I don't like the facelift.

I have to say that the front of that thing sucks....... S2000ish.... very disappointed. I hope the real 'new' NSX looks meaner than this thing.... there's just no 'toughness' to it..

yellow exterior over tan leather i think thats horrible

Looks to me like yellow exterior over YELLOW leather...

Gotta say that those pictures are not very flattering at all....very cheap looking IMO. I will reserve final judgement though until I see it in person but so far all the spy photos are very dissapointing.

Ditto.

It's official. I hate the facelift.

I'm so disappointed! The initial pictures looked great and these are horrible. Where is the beef? It looks like a cheap fill in the blank _______. I just hope it's the lighting or the setting, or the color or whatever. If this is a true representation of the 2002, nobody is going to buy it.

I think those little round things are caps that cover some kind of attachment point for the bumper cover. I'm guessing that in the past there was such a point hidden under the turn signal lamps.

Looks pretty bad in these photos; I was optimistic after seeing the street photos under the recent thread titled "Facelifted 2002 NSXs arrive in US".
Now I'm disappointed.
On the other hand, I've always thought that even the current generation NSX tends to look much better in person than in most photos.

The best thing about the facelift, IMO, is that I don't feel in any way inclined to "upgrade". :-)

The wheels are interesting, however, and the brake clearance looks great.

Are the wheels in solaris silver? Or is it just the dim lighting? In the other picture the wheels looked really bright like the current OEM machined finish.

My guess is that these are (USDM) covers for the (Euro-spec) headlamp washers. Must be REALLY oversized injectors

on those little nozzles to spray that far.

Hey, anyone know what type of Tire they are going to use? I need to replace my rears and hey, maybe I can go with 255's if it comes in Potenza RE010??

i said it before - i'll say it again..

this does nothing for Honda
this does nothing for the NSX

i am so disappointed with all this tinkering - i am begining to think that honda is being 'cheap'

i feel like going down to honda japan and kickin some sushi ass!

the s2000ish nose looks good - on an s2000

i hope somebody at honda is reading this, plz dont bother to release 2002 NSX, save your self the baggin' you'll get from the press - not to mention the hardcore honda advocates

they make good robots though...

WOW! Those three photos clearly show that the new car has wide-open eyes and a gaping mouth, like the face of an insect being terrorized by RAID!!

I predict that this facial change, if it is retained by Acura, will be the death knell of the NSX, by no later than 2004.

On the other hand, this can be seen as good news to most current owners, like me. My pristine 95 NSX-T, with its classic and beautiful face, will definitely retain its value as the years go by, and it may appreciate in value now!

I can't wait to see a high quality frontal photo of side-by-side old and new NSXs of the same color, so the before and after can be seen by all. It'll look like a really bad plastic surgery job. Publication of such will help to jump start the process of appreciation. I think current owners can celebrate their investments! This time it pays to buy and hold...

Now I'm thinking about buying a 2001, the last beautiful NSX!

That can't be what they are, since they're on the FRONT of the bumper. There's no way they can spray backwards towards the headlights from there.
