Took these with a rather crap digital camera... but they came out semi-okay. (no high-res :( ) Posting these as something different to look at.

:confused: It's meant to be a <B>Civic <FONT COLOR=red>Type R</FONT></B>... is that what you're after?

It's a 1/32<SUP>th</SUP> scale manufactured by 'Saico' (a cheap chinese maker). It was given to me... not very detailed, but keeps my NSX model from getting lonely. ;)

...a model shop here in Melbourne... took me months of looking around and enquirying; i was actually very fortunate to get it (never seen a a 1/18th die-cast model like it again! :( )

It's a Kyosho model... so you might be able to hunt it down on eBay or something.
 
Wow, I've never seen the Honda NSX Kyosho model before, I think you've got a type-s there. Both my red and black Kyosho models are Acuras.
 
I've seen some Kyosho models with the Honda badging and RHD. The two I saw were in yellow and pearl white.

Neo -- nice model NSX! I'm trying to hunt down a red 1:18 Revell-Monogram one. Tough to find!
 
Not us down here in LoCal (San Diego). The Wal-Marts near me have been clear of them for some time. Same for my brother out in Vegas. But then again, maybe Wal-Mart just distributed more of them out to their stores recently.

I'd better check!!

The Kyosho models shouldn't be too hard to find. I've saw a Red and Black Kyosho 1/18 scale NSX-T at our local hobby store just last weekend.

I have a White 1/18 NSX-R purchased a few years ago.

I'm still looking for a 1/18 Yellow NSX-T. I have the Revell Red/Black one.

The Red and Black Kyosho are still in production so they are selling at normal prices.

I checked Google and found out the following:

Seems like the Koyosho Yellow NSX-T is going for $99 - $110.
(Out of production. Thats ok, I'm not paying that much for it)

The Revell Red/Black looks like its selling as high as $200.
(this can't be right.)

The White NSX-R that I have is going for $250 in some places.

The red Kyosho Type S NeoNSX has is different from the Red NSX-T you can currently buy anywhere.

I have a brand new Kyosho yellow NSX-T in original box never opened if you want to trade your white NSX-R. :)
 
wctao-How much was the Red/Black Kyosho selling for? Is it still available. If its within reason, I would be interested in buying it.

j14nsx, the NSX-R came in White, Red and yellow. They are still available but hold on to it, it may be worth something in the future.

Neo-seems like they released some nice Kyosho in Australia. The one you have is the type-S which indeed is a rare find. For some reason, I think these rare Kyosho's are popping out somewhere in the South East:confused:
 
Kool... i feel happier with my NSX model when I hear it's a rare NSX. :D It also explains the high-price (converted to US it was ~$60-70). I was really looking for a red/black NSX because that's the best color scheme. :D (flame war!!!! ;) )

Does anyone know a reliable place where i can purchase Honda models online? I'd love another NSX model, but I'm also looking for a blue Prelude/S2000/any-Honda model for a friend of mine. The hobby shops here in Australia suck! :( No NSX's... oh, that's coz you guys have bought them all... ;)

yeah, anyone know where we can get these (not eBay though.. unless the models come with VIN numbers :p)
 
The Red and Black Kyosho NSX sells for $60 at that hobby store. I think those are the prices you'll probably see on the web.

I'm going to hold on to my NSX-R. I guess I was lucky to find it. (White RHD NSX-R with Honda badges). I remember getting it at store along with my Black last gen RX-7 and Supra Turbo. (both Kyosho).

i REALLY want one of those little red/black babies... just like <B>PHOE<FONT COLOR=red>N$X</FONT></B>'s NSX but without the SUV-kit. ;) Surely someone has the details of where to these models... *crosses fingers*
